These programs encourage families to come to the museum and learn together. Held in conjunction with community wide events, the museum educates with cultural exhibits, presentations, activities, books, and crafts.
Through our History Alive program, the museum provides TEKS based lessons to rural Title 1 schools in West Texas about exhibits, the settlement of the West Texas frontier, and agriculture. With your support, we provide these services free of charge. In the 2024-2025 school year, the museum saw 4,300 students.
Sharing our knowledge with the next generation is a priority to our vision. High School interns provide the student with a unique set of skills that can be transferred to many different career paths. This also opens options to these young adults to explore as a possible career choice.
Please Call the Museum to discuss which program you or your business would like to sponsor!
